WATER & ENERGY

Sandpiper Nature Reserve & Beach Estate has an excellent supply of bore hole water. This is being pumped into a 150 000l reservoir which will be available for general water supply.

Each home will have a 5kl rainwater tank and are encouraged to maximise use of solar power with an invertor to convert heat into electricity.

Sandpiper Nature Reserve & Beach Estate does have supply of water and energy from the local municipality but the intention is to be as self sufficient as possible, using municipality as the back up.
